I don't know about there, but for $15 more, we call the business line
and get a static. The girl didn't say anything, but I read the AUP on
it and it has all kinds of language in it about getting a DNS name
pointed, and reselling web service, and everything else.

The guy's bringing out the new modem tomorrow. I'll let you good folk
know how all that pans out.

Not only are they not dropping the "no servers" policy, they are
shortening
the dhcp lease times to make it even more painful to do. If you want to
run
servers it is much worse than before. At least before you could use
CNAME
records to point to your CXblah hostname and it would always work. No
more
hostnames, either.
