[Nolug] Suddenly, something wrong with firewall from Ron Johnson on 2002-05-21 (nolugarchives)

Hi,

After the machine worked fine for 2+ months, networking has stopped
functioning correctly.

I'm getting tons of firewal DENY messages from 68.11.66.1:0.
68.11.66.1 is my cox.net gateway. Trying to ping an external box
doesn't work, although pinging my own address (68.11.66.83) works.

Restarting the network system (/etc/init.d/networking restart) didn't
help.

Anyone got any ideas?
