I subscribed to this list earlier this week (Thanks for the help Joey)
but things got busy and work and I never got around to posting an
introduction. I figured this thread was an appropriate place.

My name is Matt Dooner, I graduated from Tulane Computer Science a
year ago, and now work for a Metairie startup called GrayMatter
(http://www.graymatterinc.com). We build systems to drive otherwise
ordinary passenger vehicles autonomously, and until about a month ago
we had been using embedded linux on the computers inside our
equipment.

I've also got another embedded project on my personal back burner:
bluetooth and intercom-over-ip. Does anyone know of a laptop with good
driver support for its builtin bluetooth and wifi? So far my G4 iBook
and my girlfriend's Dell 500M have crashed and burned due to their
broadcom firmware-based wireless cards. How about USB Bluetooth and
PCMCIA wireless that work well in linux? That would be cheaper than a
new laptop...
