I just got my EEEPC in today. The boss let me get it after agreeing to
let a coworker have my Nokia N810. For me the eeepc will be much more
practical. I needed something tiny to bring to comm rooms to hook up to
switches/routers. The Nokia keyboard just didn't cut it, and i never got
a serial adapter working on it.
The eeepc keyboard is tiny but still very usable. I haven't tried
connecting to a switch yet. I did a synaptic upgrade and all went well.
I got the 4gb Surf model. Even played a few divx files. Only thing i'm
worried about is the battery life... i'll try that out soon.
