[Nolug] highlighting words in screen

Is it possible to highlight selected words in screen, lets say, when
doing $tail -f /mylogfile.log ?

I think I've seen this done at some point, but I do not know if it was
done with screen or via some other method.

So far my search has resulted only some cumbersome instructions to pipe
the tail into perl.
