When you remove the Inbox label and put a different label on it, it's no
longer in the Inbox. Just like in your proper MUA, when you "move" a
message, in actuality you remove it from the Inbox and place it in another
folder. It's the same thing.
Who cares where the box is? The label gives you access to the data inside
it. *Access* is the key. As long as you can access the data, the box
could be in front of you, in the next room, or in Egypt. It doesn't
matter.
Let google figure out where to put all the damn boxes, haha...
