Officially, There was a fiber cut between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. However,
it has nothing to do with our cable modem traffic or backbone traffic.
Still digging into this issue. So far I do not see any issues with the New
Orleans Backbone routers. I am looking at the Atlanta and Dallas routers.
Thanks,
Charles

Unofficially, there was a report of a fiber cut between New Orleans and
Baton Rouge which has rerouted some traffic through Atlanta.
dfw.speakeasy.net appears to be affected by the fiber cut. The
following traceroute is different from the usual one:
H:\>tracert dfw.speakeasy.net
Tracing route to dfw.speakeasy.net [64.81.127.2]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms vlan100.gw.neworleans.unix-boy.com
[10.0.0.1]
2 8 ms 23 ms 8 ms 10.129.224.1
3 10 ms 10 ms 10 ms 68.11.13.85
4 10 ms 9 ms 9 ms 68.11.14.37
5 63 ms 63 ms 70 ms maribbpj01-as0.0.r2.at.cox.net [68.1.0.29]
6 56 ms 58 ms 58 ms
so-1-1-1.cr2.dfw1.spk0.dsl.speakeasy.net [69.17.
81.170]
7 55 ms 54 ms 53 ms dns.dfw1.speakeasy.net [64.81.127.2]
Trace complete.
