Upon further inspection, this seems to be the way to go:

You install linux on a standalone server, then install this DRBL
system into linux. Then, you can put any pc on the network, boot it
through PXE, and the DRBL menu will come up, where you can run
clonezilla, and back a PC up to an image on that DRBL server, or
restore an image off the DRBL server to that PC. It's kind of like
what the C4 guys were showing us at that one meeting, but it's a
premade system to do that, and it seems like this might even do a few
more things possibly. Very, very cool.
