Gnome recently released something called Vino; it's a tabbed VNC/RDP
client and it generally kicks a good amount of ass. it also has a server
component; i'm not sure if this is to listen for reverse VNC connections
or if it's an actual vnc server, i didn't do a lot of investigation into it.

as far as SSH connections (and really, all my rdp and tunneled vnc
connections as well), i just write scripts and populate ~/bin with them.
but i do know that putty works under WINE for your SSH connections, and
kssh (kde ssh manager), sshmenu (gnome), secpanel (ugly as sin) etc.are
all GUIs for SSH as well.
