A company in the banking industry is looking for a help desk
representative for a full-time position in the Lafayette, LA area. This
position provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to
telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely
resolution. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and
procedures within the field of Information Technology. Relies on
instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of
the job. Provides exceptional customer service. Works under immediate
supervision. Reports to Network Support Manager. They need someone to
be strong on customer service, hard working attitude, strong on PCs
(very important); but most important is on the networking side! This is
an important piece of this position(for many Help Desks it would not be
important - in fact they are more technical AND more network
oriented than most Help Desks, in my opinion).
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six
months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.

Applications Support Analyst: Pay: $60's - $80's; Covington, LA(THEY ARE
INTERVIEWING IMMEDIATELY!)
One of our clients is in search of an Applications Support Analyst.
Candidate must have at least 4 years of experience in: managing
projects, identifying and documenting business processes and functional
requirements, training end-users, testing applications prior to
deployments, and supporting applications in a production environment.
Reporting is done in MS Access and Crystal Reports.The individual must
also have strong: multi-tasking, documentation, communication, and
interpersonal skills. To qualify, you must have an undergraduate degree
in Computer Science (or commensurate experience). A Project Management
Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Sr. Network Engineer: Pay up to $60K; Metairie, La
A Metairie company is in search of a Sr. Network Engineer that performs
highly technical duties associated with core infrastructure design and
implementation consisting of Cisco switches, routers, VOIP Telco,
replication, LAN and WAN. This includes, but is not limited to,
implementing, maintaining and supporting the network with 24/7
availability, network security, network operating systems, Up-Time,
speed and functionality, enterprise backup and recovery, remote access
and distributed applications environments. The Senior Network Engineer
must be familiar with software systems including Microsoft, Cisco,
VMware, and SQL. Engineer must stay on the cutting edge with new
technologies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain and resolve issues with Microsoft Networking, System
Diagnostics, Cisco and infrastructure issues
• Leads team in problem solving and problem triage management
