[Nolug] Need Open Office Help

I am in the middle of a document.

It has, for lack of a better term, rolled up on me.

I have powered down a few times expecting to get prompts for saving,
but nothing.

When I open up Open Office now, I have a bar across my dest top,
within which resides the OO workspace.

Does anyone have any ideas?
