If the speed is not an issue, Raid 5 is best bang for the buck for
redundancy.
Next week, I'll be taking a peek for the openfiler.
I had freenas running for few days, but then had to concentrate on other
things.
Building Raid 5 in freenas takes forever. I do not know the exact time, but
with 3x1Tb drives it was overnight process.
