I'm sure some of you have seen the Crucial memory scanner tool. You
go to their web site, and an ActiveX control runs, then it tells you
how many memory slots your PC has, how many are filled, and with what.
And what your system supports as far as upgrading it.

Does anyone know of something similar to this, that doesn't rely on a
web site that's trying to sell you their product after the scan?
Especially if you can run it from one computer and it scans multiple
PC's on the network. Just a program that runs and says "you have x
slots with x configuration, your system supports x type of memory up
to x GB per stick."
