Hi, all,
I noticed there is another Whatley in the area, interested in Linux. IU
suppose that was the link to coax me out of the 'closet.'
I've have been a lurker on Nolug for some time, too busy with other
involvements to move back to Linux.
I set up Linux, way back, when it first came out. Shortly before I hired
on with LA Dept of Health and Human Resources as a _one man_ Network
Tech in New Orleans region. I set up the first dumb terminals in LA
Charity Hospitals.
A year ago, I set up a personal dual WinXP/Linux platform on an old Dell
Dimension PC, but haven't found time to pursue it. I'm edging into
retirement, but it isn't easy to let go after 30+ years...
I just wanted to toss my hat into the ring and say Hi.
