BMC Action Request (AR) System Developer Position Description:
Will be responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment
of the BMC Action Request (AR) System. Develop and support integration
and data interfaces between the BMC Action Request (AR) System and other
systems and databases as necessary. Develop and maintain front-end
interfaces for end-user applications as needed. Develop and maintain
fixed and ad-hoc reports related to the BMC Action Request (AR) System
application. Write technical documentation as required. Provide end-user
training and support
The successful candidates will be responsible for working as part of a
team with some direct supervision. As part of a team the successful
candidate will have a working command of technology and architectural
concepts.
To be considered for this opportunity we are looking for candidates who
possess the following experience:
* Certifications on the BMC Action Request (AR) application or
previous training on the BMC Action Request (AR) application or the core
BMC Action Request (AR) System are preferred
* Minimum of four (4) years experience with any version of the BMC
Action Request (AR) System as a system administrator or developer
* Must have experience with BMC Action Request (AR) System version
6.x or later. Experience with multiple versions of BMC Action Request
(AR) System is a plus.
* In depth knowledge of BMC Action Request (AR) System on the
Windows OS and at least one of the following databases - MS SQL Server,
Oracle, or DB2.
* Experience in customizing and administering custom developed
forms and workflow.
* Experience integrating BMC Action Request (AR) System with
external data sources such as LDAP is a plus.
* Experience in programming languages - JAVA and/or C++ is a plus.
* ITIL knowledge or certification a plus
* A high degree of organizational and interpersonal skill in
working with various levels of technical and business oriented
individuals is required
* Familiarity with ITIL or ITIL certified a plus
* A DOD Secret Clearance will be required for this position.
