Why I would want to put my passport, much less my financial information, on an RFID chip is beyond me. I guess it's time to make a little tin foil hat for my wallet. Whatever happened to good old fashioned cash?

> Credit cards are now being issued with the new "Blink" technology, a
> feature that allows the holder to simply pass the card in front of a reader
> without swiping it or any other procedure. Cards with "Blink" have an icon
> resembling o)))) or something similar to it on the backside.
>
> This technology
is NOT SAFE because the card can be read by a thief with a
> scanner from several feet away, even if the card is secure in your wallet or
> purse. There goes your credit balance in a "Blink".
>
> I requested a new card from Visa without this feature. They complied with
> my request. I advise everyone do the same.
