In Windows, I just place everything in folders by numbers and then I set up a
spreadsheet (Excel).
I'm not sure what I'll do in Ubuntu.
I notice in Ubuntu 3 choices for file types: ext3, ext4 and fat.
Which is best?
The Ubuntu computer is not on the Internet. I'm concerned about getting a virus
from an .mp3 from Windows computer (which is on Internet) when I transfer music.

Randy,
What were you using to manage your music in Windows, and what are you
going to use to manage your music in Ubuntu?
