Different strokes...

I'm a sysadmin and don't care about games or movies. I want a tablet that I
have root on and that I don't share with a provider. I would do a lot more on
my droid phone if I wasn't paranoid about typing costly passwords into it. If
a nook or kindle (or other suitable and cheap device) allows me to boot my
own image off a memory card, I'd be happy as a clam.

I bought a Nokia 770 tablet when they first came out, but it's too small and
too slow for any serious work.
