A New Orleans based company has a need for a C/C++ developer on Linux.
It is a direct hire for a company which develops software for the
palliative and long term care industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self starter and can work on
legacy code, while also helping to redesign an application the "right" way.

Some requirements
BS CS or equivalent
3+ years of C/C++ experience
3+ years of SQL experience
3+ years of Linux experience
Good knowledge of JEE
Experience with web development technologies including HTML/CSS/Javascript
Understanding of MVC, MVP and similar design patterns

Some duties
Maintain, debug, and add new features to legacy C/C++ code
Work with the support team to identify and fix bugs
Work with the engineering team to completely rewrite the application
using JEE
