Cafe Siam, end of Esplanade just east of the Mint. EXCELLENT Thai food.

Saki Cafe, on Veterans in the Independence Plaza

There's a Japanese rest. on Veterans I can't spell. Excellent Japanese
food.

Those would be my recommendations.
