Thanks to all who responded. The info on Gateway was especially helpfull
as I was thinking of going with them. Does anyone know of a local Dell
distributor or is online the only way? As far as having luck with older
Toshibas, I've got this old T2105, its a 486 with 20 megs of RAM. Anybody
think they can load Linux on it? I've tried for years with Slackware, RH
and SUSE with no results. The HD used to be 800 megs but now only reads
300 thanks to an early (I think the elder Bush was president) experiment
with FIPS. Still, I love the machine. Had it for years.
