ok...when I use
/usr/sbin/lpadmin -p Printshare -v smb://username:password@hostname/Printshare -P /root/driver.ppd
and it shows me
password for retrolin on localhost?
retrolin being my user name
what exactly does it want? is it suppose to be a yes/no question? I tried entering the passowrd, it just shows the exact same question. I tried y, I tried n I tried Y, I tried N I tried yes, I tried no..I tried YES, I tried NO, I tried 1, I tried 0. I just don't know what to respond with...it seems as though no matter what I type in, it just comes back with the exact same question.
