DAVE CAN'T HAVE MY BOX!!! *snicker*
Thanks Joey,
However, thats exactly why I want to do all of these wierd and wonderful
thingies.
I am so far out of touch with the command line and file structure I could be
a microsoft programmer.
I want to rip its guts out, squish 'em around a bit and stuff 'em back in.
(evil cackle)
I need newbie lessons and a project I can build and grow with.
I've participated in meeting projects in the past (and really enjoyed them),
but I never saw the finished project.
For those who can remember 3 years back, I was the dufus who tried putting
FreeBDS on a compaq box. I was ignored for the next three meetings.
Anyway, I have SuSE 8.2 which will work (still need a bit of help on some
things), but I wanted a project we could build on and document.
I hate these help files that say "You will probably want to set this up to
do this, but for now we're not gonna do that here."
Thanks for your time.

In fact, I bet Dave would love that box as a file server.
