Our UPS' went to 0V at around 1022 this morning, only lasted about 2min
though. (Also in Algiers). If your running powerchute, there should be a
datalog that says whether you had a surge or an undervolt.

yeah,
sounds like a bad battery.
You can replace them fairly cheaply, then brand new UPS at that point!
Unless the circuits are fried, then you might be SOL.
