That Linksys card (WPC54g) uses a Broadcom chipset. Do everyone a favor
and send an email to Broadcom requesting they open up the specs to their
chipsets so someone (anyone) can write some open source drivers.

In the meantime it should work with ndiswrapper. Here's a Debian specific
page i found that may give you some pointers:
