Y'all,

Last night we came up with the idea of doing a series of presentations having
to do with setting up a Linux PC. We intend to take it from square one, and
go from there.

At the September we will do an install of some distribution of Linux on a
laptop, or perhaps a desktop if no laptop is available.

October will see us adding users to the box, tweaking the hardware (making
sure sound works, getting the right video resolution, etc.), and perhaps
making sure a few services work (web, mail, etc.).

In November, we'll perform a few more sysadmin tasks. We might even carry this
series over to 2005.
