Perhaps they got tired of students logging on to haX0r channels where the
kiddiez hang, talking smack and getting the entire network DDoS'ed.
Maybe the illegal file transfers were using too much bandwidth.
Unfortunately, for a network administrator, IRC is more trouble than it's
worth.
