MPlayer can do it. Kplayer is a nice front-end for mplayer. If you're
debian based, apt-get install kplayer. If rpm-based, you may hit some rpm
dependency hell installing kplayer (i did on mandrake).
I think xine can also play asf files. But neither mplayer nor xine play
asf or wmv files perfectly. We really need an OSS media player that
rivals Windows Media Player. Any other suggestions?
