If it turns out you can't get your current modem to work, I
have a whole passel of modems (10+, PCI/IDE) I can bring
to the next NOLUG meeting that you're welcome to try out. I
know some of them *are* winmodems, but I'm not doing
anything with them.
Just let me know.
