Gang,

I've started to plan building a home DSL router, and I'm scrounging
parts. No, this isn't a plea for hardware- unless someone has some PCI
wireless cards that need homes. But seriously, I've gotten two internal
Alcatel DSL modems from a friend, and I just bought one of these quad
port NICs on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5766973715&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:US:1

Preliminary research show it'll work under Linux using the tulip
modules, but we'll see when I get the hardware. The auction only has a
day or so left, so I figured that others may want to pick up one for
either kicks or for any projects.

Rough plan:

DSL card
Wireless 1 (Trusted)
Wireless 2 (open/guest/untrusted)
Ether 1 (Production machines)
Ether 2 (Trusted)
Ether 3 (Suspect)
Ether 4 (Unassigned)

I will report more details later.

MDK
