Fyi - A new ADSL speed has been announced: 6M x 512K. It is planned to be
available in Sept or Oct.
You have to be closer to the phone company central office to get it, however.
The limit is 5500 feet with a regular ADSL modem, or 8000 feet with one of the
newer ADSL2+ modems.
Pricing has not been announced yet.
