That might not be so bad...Sun controls OO.o also, and it's a great
project. And it says that Sun plans on leaving MySQL as an open source
project (I doubt they have any other choice by law) so it won't become
closed or anything. It could be good with some backing by a large
corporation. Also, with a big name backing it, it will get the attention it
deserves, and be given the same respect as MS SQL and Oracle. It will no
longer be the database associated with "hackers" and corporations will be
more eager to use it.
