The spirit falls, the disciples speak in tongues
    The multitude hears, is amazed, and asks what was happening
    Peter stands to preach, with the 11 (a sermon all its own)

said that spirit gievn to empower us to preach the gospel
    and that the Lord has gentiles in mind
    see the progression in Acts 1:8

Joel--- event foretold, but context is of pending judgment,
    and the great tribulation

"In the last days" --- 2000 years so far, but this is the last days

verse 22: "ye men of Israel"
    Jesus of nazareth

the plan of God, Jesus supposed to die, sent to die

then Peter refers to the prophets: David,
    vs. 40 many other the words, maybe other OT saints

John the Baptist, and Christ's teaching in the temple before that

miracles, very many knew of the man, his teachings and miracles

verse 36: Jesus crucified, now lord and christ (messiah)

verse 37: second question by the jews
verse 38: Peter's answer: repent, be baptists in Christ's name
    for remisson of sins: Moses deliverd from Egypt, but Christ from sin.
    and receive gift of Holy Ghost as a bonus

verse 41: 3000 jewish souls saved

verse 42: apostles's doctrine: the kingdom now left to the apostles
    and to us. See the parable in Mark 12.
    We are his stewards and ambassadors.

Mark12:1 And he began to speak unto them by parables.
  A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it,
  and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower,
