Greetings!

I hope these scripture verses will encourage you in your prayer ventures this millennial year. There is so much to pray about, yet so much prayerlessness in the body of Christ. We need to encourage one another as we see the day of His coming approaching!

In James 5:17 we are encouraged to pray earnestly as Elijah did and we will see results. “The effectual , fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” To pray earnestly means to get down to business with God. Elijah’s prayer was not out of obligation but was a heartfelt prayer based on a relationship with God. You see, our Father wants to answer our prayers and most of all He wants to fellowship with his children.

“Abba Father!” We have the privilege of talking to a our Father in heaven who loves exceedingly. If we ask Him, he will give us the confidence and holy boldness that it takes to come unto His throne of grace that we may obtain the help that we need for ourselves and our loved ones.
