C-a = Ctrl-A So press Ctrl and the A key together. then release and press ?
for a list of other commands. C-a ? = Ctrl+A ? Is that clear? It will
also tell you how to scroll those windows (Ctrl-A ESC then up and down
arrows etc.
man screen is very informative or google gnu screen for LOTS of tutorials on
this.
