Hi Chris.

In the short term the price will vary, but overall it is going down. How
much did a 5M Internet feed cost 10 years ago?

More? The $150/mo I'm paying now isn't enough? I'm already considering
ditching Cox as it is, the costs just keep going up and up. A few years ago
it was $120, and I haven't added any services to my account. The prices go
up, and the amount of service we receive is going down. This is backwards,
considering as technology improves, prices should be going down, as they are
in every other country. In the US there is far too much monopolization on
communications.

Hi Charles.

Possibly, but probably not. If an ISP supplies unlimited bandwidth it costs
them more. So they have to charge more.

As a customer, are you willing to pay twice the rate because of the top 10%
who double the ISP's bandwidth if there is no cap? Unless you are in that
top 10%, the answer is generally no - hell no! :)

John

Are there *any* service providers for unmetered, un-capped Internet access
in New Orleans?
