Supposedly you can travel from one point to another point in space by
"folding it" (much like you would fold a piece of paper to draw a point
on both extremes without lifting the pen), or by using "cosmic strings"
as modern relativity theory now postulates. This would beat traveling
at the speed of light. Moreover, to travel faster than light you need
infinite mass, but once you pass that point of discontinuity you can
travel faster than light.......
