Hi Dave.

The local loop charge is about $125 or so for each end of the T1, plus about
$30 or so per mile for any distance between the CO's at each end.

If you want the other end to be connected to the Internet, then there's a port
charge. This could be anywhere from a few hundred to 1K per month.

The speed depends mainly on what guarantee you get from the port vendor. 100%
for a "good" port, down to perhaps 25% for a heavily factored port.

The local loop will be the full 1.5M in both directions, regardless - unless
it's a Frame Relay T1, instead of a Point-to-Point T1. In this case the local
loop charge will be less, but the guaranteed rate (Committed Info Rate) might
be anywhere from 10% to 100%. The more you pay, the higher the guarantee.

Both port and local loop rates might depend on how long a contract you sign.
There are also installation costs to consider, $1K ballpark.
