this is the output of depmod -a, except, none of those have to do with
my alsa driver ( I think)

Here is the relevant part of /etc/modules.conf

output of dmesg is as follows.
Intel 810 + AC97 Audio, version 0.21, 00:45:09 Feb 2 2003
PCI: Found IRQ 11 for device 00:1f.5
PCI: Sharing IRQ 11 with 00:1f.3
PCI: Sharing IRQ 11 with 02:07.0
PCI: Setting latency timer of device 00:1f.5 to 64
i810: Intel ICH4 found at IO 0xe080 and 0xe400, IRQ 11
i810_audio: Audio Controller supports 6 channels.
i810_audio: Primary codec not ready.
It says that its sharing that irq with the ethernet and the usb
controller. Maybe this is the problem, if so, how do I change the
irq's. I will post more of the dmesg if it would help.
