I recently joined BS, and asked for an ethernet modem. They sent me a
"Westell" USB/Ethernet modem within a week. It is a modem, NAT box,
and DHCP server that does have Web based administration. If you want
to run your own NAT, then you can configure it to act just like a
modem. It wasn't hard to set up. I signed up right when DirectTVDSL
sent out an email about going out of business; I got the modem for $100
with a $100 mail in rebate. I haven't had any problems with it, and
they warranty it for a year.
