I guess it depends. There is more than one way to do anything, and my main goal is to provide
information and examples. Maybe you could pick a FreeBSD "how to" and present it during that
meeting too. As I have stated before, I am looking for suggestions and people interested in
participating.
As far as creating a desktop environment on FreeBSD, a lot of folks for some reason over
complicate the issue. My plan is to basically proved the steps that will take you from an OS-less
x86 box to a FreeBSD workstation with ports and a "face", ie Gnome. Undoubtedly there are things
I may miss or thing I may cover unnecessarily which is why I want to make it available about a
week before the meeting for a "peer review".
