In an attempt to get USB running, I tried to reconfigure my RH 8.0 kernel. I added only a USB module and one concerning parallel printers. It resulted in kernel panic. I tried again with the same result. /tmp/upgrade.log has no entries and /var/log/dmesg and /var/log/boot.log have nothing new or unusual. Any ideas?
