Hi,
Besides running The One True OS, our shop runs lots of HP-9000s
with HP-SUX & Oracle 9i. Some are used for development, and some
are for production.
I'd like to find some CIO-level white papers to show him that
x86 boxen running Linux & O9i are better (i.e., faster & cheaper)
as development machines. (Of course, 1 HP-9000 would still be
needed for final compilation and QA...)
Googling has produced no adequate results.
So, can anyone help with this?
Thanks,
Ron
