[Nolug] Fwd: Louisiana LUG get-together

Hey y'all,

Wendell from Lake Charles, who some of you might remember, is trying to put
together an occasional meta-LUG meeting comprised of representattives from
each of the Linux users groups throughout the state. He is considering
holding this meta-meeting once or twice a year. I think he's on to something,
actually.

At any rate, I'm looking for volunteers to do a road trip to Lafayette. Be
thinking about it, willya?

Hi Joey,

Sorry that I haven't made it down for any recent meetings. If you
remember, the last time I was there, we talked briefly about trying
to get people from the various Louisiana LUGs together for a meeting.
Well, since that time, I have been trying to move forward with this.
So far, the Lafayette group has offered to host it and I have been in
e-mail contact with Dustin Puryear and John Hebert of BRLUG. I'm also
attempting to contact someone from various north LA groups that I have
found listed various places. Anyway, we are looking at Saturday,
June 28th as a possible date, starting sometime in the late morning
and going into the afternoon depending on how long people want to stay.
We are trying to limit it to 4 or 5 people max from each group so that
it doesn't get out of hand. Could you see if anyone from NOLUG would
like to come and if the date is acceptable. I suspect that no date
will be good for everybody, so we'll just have to do as good as we can.
