I will be building a custom VPN gateway that should support IPSec and PPTP
using either Linux or FreeBSD for a client. Has anyone benchmarked or read
of benchmarks comparing how well new Intel chips compare to new AMD chips
for VPN loads? Any recommendations? I will be performing my own tests, but
if there is information already out there I would like to read it.
