Since I have read up on Fedora, I'm inclined to wait and see how that works out after they straighten out the non-RH-compatible packages. Since Fedora is a sort of RH offshoot anyway, it could be just as good and the support may actually improve since the emphasis will be off Enterprise.

If you want play with Linux, use one of the RPM based distros.
If you want to learn Linux, use Slackware.

Maybe we could get a poll on the nolug site or just have
people weigh in on the list on their OS.
