I have no experience with Win4Lin, but regularly use CrossOver Office, mostly for QuickBooks (since QB data files don't convert to files compatible with native Linux accounting programs). It's quite easy to use, and of course, once set up, one just clicks on an icon to run the Windows program.

Subject: [Nolug] Anyone have any experience with Lindows?
I'm looking to get my kids new computers. I'm thinking
to get them used to linux, and still use some of the
windoze apps they just have to have, Lindows and
Win4Lin would cover it for less than XP pro licenses.
Yes, Mandrake and wine might be cheaper, but my
experience with wine has been hard to set up, slow,
and flaky at best.
