Did anyone see this and is anyone else bothered by the potential of Microscrap being
involved in one of the most basic operations the architecture has? I haven't heard of
anyone from the *nix environment being involved in the forum. Further, the idea of pre-boot
software (of any kind really) is just another place for a virus or other malware to reside.
Then there's the idea of combating piracy by the use of pre-boot validation. Clearly, there
is room for improvemet in the BIOS area but I'm not so sure the Intel and MS are the cats
I want doing it.
