the easiest thing to do is modify a copy of an existing iso. Put a copy
of your favorite CD distrib iso on your hard drive, be it knoppix or
whatever. Mount the iso like this:
mount -o loop Knoppix.iso /mnt
cd to /mnt and change what you want. remove commands that start X, create
your user in passwd and shadow, make his home dir and startup scripts, etc
etc. Then umount the iso and burn it. and you're done.
