[Nolug] More on 2.6 and USB

The "post-holloween" document indicates that there are

  Very little user visible changes, the only noticeable 'major' change
  is that there is now only one UHCI driver. As noted elsewhere,
  usbdevfs was renamed to usbfs.

It does also say "better hotplug support, especially for USB mass
storage" but then adds "well it's work_in_progress".

There is nothing in the document to indicate that hotplug daemons
which associate device information with drivers are not needed.
